CARES has been active in the Singapore construction sector for the past decades and has achieved SAC accreditation to certify reinforcing steels imported and produced locally in Singapore are from CARES approved manufacturers.
As part of our global commitment to improving end-user confidence in the supply and installation of reinforcing steels and construction installation systems for concrete structures, CARES offer product certification schemes in Singapore for Steel for the Reinforcement of Concrete (SS 560, BS 8666, SS 561, Feedstock and application of mechanical couplers to ISO 15835), Specialist Builders (In-Situ Post Tensioning Works, Precast Concrete Products, Piling Works and Ground Support and Stabilisation Works for Earth Retaining and Stabilising Structures ERSS), Factory Production Control Certification of Alternative Structural Steel to BC1 (Design Guide on use of Alternative Structural Steel to BS 5950 & Eurocode 3) and management systems certification for quality, environment and occupational health and safety.
